Apex plans to acquire Bank of America Custodial Services (Ireland) Limited (BACSIL), the Irish depositary business of Bank of America. Apex will acquire BACSIL through its subsidiary, European Depositary Bank. The BACSIL business, based in Dublin, provides depositary services for client assets of USD71.4bn. Upon closing, BACSIL’s team will join Apex in Dublin.

The acquisition brings STP’s total AuA to >USD400bn.

Euroclear plans to acquire Goji, a UK-based provider of digital access and technology-enabled solutions for private markets, subject to regulatory approval. Goji serves nearly 30,000 investors from 80 investor jurisdictions, and is regulated by the FCA. Apex recently selected Goji for onboarding of alternatives clients.

IQ-EQ, the Luxembourg-based fund services provider, has acquired Laven Compliance Limited, formerly part of Laven Group. Laven Compliance is a UK and U.S.-based provider of regulatory compliance, regulatory application support and operational due diligence, servicing financial services clients. The acquisition does not involve any other part of the Laven Group.
