State Street has appointed Maria Ximena Vasquez Barbosa as regional sales head for Latin America & Caribbean. She will also spearhead its move into Mexico. She will be based in Mexico City, reporting to Oliver Berger, head of emerging growth markets for State Street. State Street has established operations in Colombia, Chile and Peru. Barbosa joins from Citi, where she spent eleven years holding various local and regional roles in several countries throughout LatAm.
