BNP Paribas’ securities services business has appointed Julien Kasparian as its regional head for the UK and Middle East, subject to regulatory approvals. He was most recently head of Hong Kong SAR for securities services, and will hand over his former responsibilities to Laure Ly, previously head of client development, Greater China, for securities services. Kasparian will report directly to Alessandro Gioffreda, global head of territory management for securities services, and locally to Emmanuelle Bury, BNP Paribas’ UK country head. He replaces Simon Olenka, who has left the bank.
