Komainu, the C.I.-based digital asset services provider, is to provide custody for BlackRock’s BUIDL Token. The BUIDL Token – BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund – is a tokenised fund created by BlackRock. Operating on the Ethereum blockchain, BUIDL offers institutional investors exposure to U.S. dollar yields through tokenisation. By tokenising a U.S. dollar fund, BlackRock is providing a new avenue for institutional investors to participate in the digital asset ecosystem while maintaining USD-based returns.
