State Street has appointed Scott Carpenter as global head of private markets and credit. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy, product capabilities, P&L and overall market position of the private markets and credit fund servicing businesses of State Street. Carpenter, a 30-year State Street veteran, was previous global COO of the alternatives business.
