State Street has opened an office in Chile to support institutional clients in Latin America, with a focus on custody, fund administration and securities lending. Alberto Menendez will lead the Chile office, and act as sales representative for Chile and Peru. He will report to Maria Ximena Vasquez Barbosa, regional sales head for LatAm and Caribbean (ex Brazil).
