Apex has been appointed as fund administrator of the Masdar Green REIT, the first REIT in the Middle East region to invest solely in sustainable real estate assets. The fund is managed by Masdar Capital Management Limited, a manager incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The REIT’s portfolio is currently comprised of four commercial properties, with an initial third-party valuation of c. AED950m (USD260m). Apex will work in partnership with Emirates NBD Asset Management, provider of management services for the vehicle, in a strategic partnership with Masdar Capital Management Limited.
