State Street appoints three new country heads in Europe

State Street has appointed new country heads for Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Andreas Niklaus has been appointed as the head of Germany, Riccardo Lamanna as the head of Luxembourg and Dagmar Kamber Borens as the head of Switzerland. They will be responsible for developing business, stewarding client engagement, developing talent, and building the company’s brand and market network, in addition to maintaining strong and proactive regulatory relationships.

Andreas Niklaus joined State Street in 2003 to manage the Depotbank and integrated Deutsche Bank’s securities services business into State Street Bank International GmbH. He has served as COO since 2006, and was most recently responsible for global services in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and the Nordics. Riccardo Lamanna, currently head of Alpha business development for EMEA and the legal entity head and board member for State Street Global Exchange GmbH, joined State Street in 2010 as part of the Intesa Sanpaolo acquisition. Dagmar Kamber Borens was most recently the designated CEO and country head of Quintet Private Bank Switzerland AG. She spent 18 years at UBS AG, where she held a number of senior management positions.
