Citi has made two senior sales appointments in its custody & fund services (CFS) business.
Maria Cantillon joins as head of CFS sales for EMEA, a position that has been open since Matthew Bax moved to run the direct custody & clearing business in 2020. She will report to Sanjiv Sawhney, global head of CFS, and Chris Cox, EMEA head of securities services. Cantillon was previously head of EMEA sector solutions at State Street, where she spent 10 years.
Mark England joins as head of CFS sales for APAC, reporting to Sanjiv Sawhney and David Russell, Asia Pacific head of securities services and Hong Kong head of markets. England returns to Citi from State Street, where he was Asia Pacific head of client relationship management. He replaces George Hindmarsh, who is moving to a senior relationship role.
