Apex Group, the Bermuda-based administrator, has made three senior appointments in Luxembourg.
Frederic Bilas joins as COO – Luxembourg, following a decade as director of operations at European Fund Administration. Bilas will report directly to group COO, Chris Mulhern. Ramón van Heusden also joins the Luxembourg team as head of real estate. This appointment follows the announcement last month of the appointment of Michael Sheahan as global head of real estate and further reinforces its “intent to dominate not only the real estate space globally but also the Luxembourg fund servicing space”. Van Heusden, who will report to Sheahan, was most recently a senior director of relationship management for PERE at TMF Group. Kris Allen has been appointed as global head of client onboarding. Allen joined Apex in 2019 as part of the Ipes acquisition, becoming head of client onboarding for Luxembourg. He will report to Srikumar T.E., global head of fund solutions.
