Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, has advised on the launch of the Daiwa Blackstone Infrastructure Fund. The fund, which was recently launched, is structured as a Cayman Islands unit trust and is authorised for public offering in Japan. The fund is managed by IQ-EQ Fund Management (Ireland) Limited, IQ-EQ’s Irish fund management business, and will be distributed by Daiwa Securities Co., Ltd. The fund’s investment manager is Daiwa Asset Management (Europe) Ltd. MUFG Fund Services (Cayman) Limited provides fund administration services.
