VanEck has launched the first bitcoin ETF to be listed on the ASX in Australia. Gemini Trust Company has been appointed as bitcoin custodian, with Link Market Services Limited as registrar. State Street Australia Limited will act as administrator of the fund and custodian of the fund’s cash assets. This follows the recent launch of Monochrome’s bitcoin ETF in Australia, which has a similar set-up with Gemini and State Street as its custodians.
