Shane Monks has joined BNY as global head of ETF and UIT operations, based in Boston. Monks joins from J.P. Morgan, after spending 15 years at State Street. This is the second major loss for J.P. Morgan from its ETF business, with Josh Jacobs recently moving to U.S. Bank. Vivian Tung, who was BNY’s global head of ETF services, recently left to join MFS Investment Management.
