Novata, a fintech that provides ESG data for private markets investments, has completed a new round of financing from returning investors Hamilton Lane and S&P Global, and a new investor, Motive Ventures, which is backed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management. In 2023 Novata struck a deal with Northern Trust, an investor, to provide its data to Northern Trust’s asset servicing clients.
