BNP Paribas has been appointed by Indeval as its local custodian for the U.S., representing USD60bn of assets. Indeval is the Mexican CSD, responsible for trades on the Mexican Stock Exchange and money market instruments. It is owned by the Mexican Stock Exchange (Grupo BMV). In 2018 Citi was appointed as custodian and tax services provider for the USD39bn of U.S. assets of Indeval’s International Quotation System (SIC), created by BMV and Indeval to provide investors with access to international securities.
