VentureSouq, a Dubai-based venture capital fund manager, has appointed SS&C GlobeOp as a fund administrator for its fintech range. VentureSouq’s mandate includes two funds, one management company and four co-investment vehicles. DTCC, the U.S. market infrastructure provider, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Securrency Inc., a developer of institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure. Oak Group, the C.I.-based administrator, has appointed Kim Sgarlata as group CEO. She previously held the positions of global head of strategic programme development and global head of wholesale transformation at HSBC. She has also worked at Capco, Accenture, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and State Street.

Accordant Investments LLC, a registered investment advisor, has appointed SS&C Technologies to support the operations of its first registered interval fund, the Accordant ODCE Index Fund. Accordant will deploy SS&C’s services supporting interval funds, including registered fund services, administration, transfer agency, tax and treasury services.

Komainu, the C.I.-based digital assets custodian, has appointed Robert Johnson as chief technology officer, based in London. He joins from Coremont, where he was CTO and partner. Komainu, which is backed in part by Nomura, recently received approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority to register as a custodian wallet provider.
