It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of Andrew Capon. Andrew was one of the most gifted journalists of his generation, covering both investment management and administration. He had a formidable intellect, and a wicked sense of humour. He was just 54 years old.

State Street has been appointed by abrdn, the UK-based asset manager with GBP500bn (USD643bn) AuM, to service its first actively managed ETF in Europe, the abrdn Global Real Estate Active Thematics UCITS ETF. Pirum hires for U.S. sales
Gary Messina has joined Pirum, the UK-based fintech specialising in the securities finance sector, as associate director, sales origination.
