State Street has appointed Mostapha Tahiri, Asia Pacific CEO, to take on additional responsibilities to lead its Middle East business. In his expanded capacity, Tahiri will be responsible for all business activities for the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. Based in Singapore, Tahiri will continue to report to Andrew Erickson, chief productivity officer and head of international business, and Lou Maiuri, president, COO and head of investment services. Oliver Berger, who has responsibility for client delivery across the Global Services, Global Markets and Global Exchange businesses in the Middle East & North Africa, will report to Tahiri.
