Aon plc, a global professional services company, has appointed Leonique van Houwelingen as chief executive officer for the Netherlands, effective November 1, 2022, subject to regulatory approval. In 2021 van van Houwelingen was replaced as CEO of BNY Mellon’s European bank and took on a new role as EMEA head of strategic growth and regional head of client coverage for the asset servicing business.
