BNY Mellon in Ireland has been appointed as custodian and administrator for Grayscale’s first European ETF, launched through the HANetf platform, for which BNY Mellon provides custody and administration. The Grayscale Future of Finance UCITS ETF (GFOF) will list on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse and Borsa Italiana and will be available to investors across Europe. Grayscale is the world’s largest digital currency asset manager, and added BNY Mellon to its roster of preferred custodians in 2021.
Earlier this year U.S. Bank was appointed by Grayscale as custodian, transfer agent, administrator, and index receipt agent for a similar U.S.-based ETF.
