Northern Trust & Emerald to deploy Broadridge Private Market Hub

Northern Trust and Emerald Technology Ventures have agreed to deploy the Broadridge Private Market Hub to improve visibility and reduce transaction friction to interact in real-time for Guernsey-domiciled funds. The hub, which was originally developed by Northern Trust, was transferred to Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. in 2019. It uses DLT to help solve the challenge of transparency by providing real-time access to data and a full view of the fund lifecycle. It provides connectivity to existing industry tools and technologies to help further automate workflows between front-, middle- and back-office functions. The solution enables investment managers to manage, communicate and engage with investors and other stakeholders with greater efficiency and data transparency, streamlined through a distributed ledger technology. Northern Trust has migrated four Emerald Technology Ventures funds to the hub. Emerald has worked with Northern Trust since 2000.
