BNY Mellon has completed an investment in Quantexa, a data management firm. As part of the deal, Joseph Sieczkowski, BNY Mellon’s CIO of engineering and architecture, will be joining the Quantexa board, and Eric Hirschhorn, chief data officer, will join Quantexa’s advisory board. BNY Mellon already uses Quantexa’s platform and will now expand its relationship to cover data fabric innovation.
