Andy Clayton has retired from Northern Trust after a 35-year career with the firm. Clayton held a number of senior positions with the securities finance and capital markets business lines, most recently as head of Northern Trust’s capital markets division in EMEA. He has also run the global securities lending business. His retirement is the latest in a series of long-serving senior managers, including Mike Vardas (38 years), Penny Biggs (20 years), and Griff Ehrenstrom (37 years), stepping down.
