IQ-EQ, the Luxembourg-based administrator, is to launch a dedicated funds business in Ireland. IQ-EQ, which has offices in Dublin and Shannon, will be transferring a number of personnel from the group’s wider UK & Ireland cluster, including Belfast-based Eoghan Harney, who will hold the role of director and head of fund accounting. Gary Palmer, a former chief executive of the Irish Funds Industry Association, joins as chairman and non-executive director.
