EFA, the Luxembourg-based administrator, has been appointed by BlueOrchard Finance Ltd, an impact investment manager, to take over the administration of the Japan ASEAN Women Empowerment Fund (JAWEF). The migration of the fund has been completed. BlueOrchard’s JAWEF was launched in 2016 as the first fund of its kind investing through financial institutions in female micro entrepreneurs across the ASEAN region in a range of frontier and emerging markets. SGSS was appointed as administrator in 2017.
