BP2S promotes Pat Hayes to global head of alternative investors

BNP Paribas Securities Services has made two key appointments. Pat Hayes, who joined in 2016 from State Street as regional head of UK and the Middle East, is promoted to global head of alternative investors, based in Dublin. He will report to Philippe Benoît, global head of strategic business development and transformation. The role has been vacant since Ian Lynch left in 2019 to join Intertrust. Hayes is succeeded by Simon Olenka, who joined BP2S from RBC in 2018 as UK head of client delivery. Based in London, he reports to Anne Marie Verstraeten, UK country head, and Alessandro Gioffreda, global head of territory management for BP2S.
