Following the appointment of José Placido as CEO of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Americas, BP2S has made the following management changes:
Alessandro Gioffreda, currently regional head of continental Europe for BP2S, is appointed head of territory management, covering all regions. In his new role, he will be responsible for the BP2S regional structure. Alvaro Camuñas, currently global head of sales and relationship management, is appointed head of client development, with responsibility for sales, relationship management, and client services. Gioffreda and Camuñas will start in their new roles on 1 April 2020, and will report to Patrick Colle, general manager of BNP Paribas Securities Services.
Placido, who joined the bank in 2014, is currently global head of client development for BP2S and global head of financial institutions coverage for corporate and institutional banking.
