Vistra, the Asia-based provider of global trust, fund administration and corporate services, has appointed Jervis Smith as country managing director of Luxembourg. Smith will be responsible for leading Vistra’s Luxembourg office and growing the business, as well as the Vistra office in The Netherlands. Vistra has nearly 250 staff in Luxembourg, its second largest operation in Europe. Based in Luxembourg, he will report to Vincent Bremmer, regional managing director, Europe. Prior to joining Vistra, Smith spent over 25 years with Citi, most recently as head of investor services, Luxembourg, where he managed the product and business development of investor services for to banks, pensions, insurance companies and asset managers. Previously, he was head of sales for APAC in Hong Kong.
